Permanent bans for resellers would be nice. Like Rolex does if you try to sell on market. Lofi looked nice. People selling at 3-4x online.

Started waiting when the page opened, queue time: Over an hour out PST.
27min in and a message popped up:

10min later the Ian Miller one is gone too, still in, and sat in a line for nothing. A minute later, I can check out to an empty cart.
Fantastic work WOTC, can't wait to do this again on Wednesday.

Pre-queue starting in 5 minutes. Then if you are in the pre-queue, you get assigned a random position in the actual queue at 9AM PT (1 hour and 5 minutes from now). Then it's just a matter of waiting and crossing your fingers to reach the checkout before the items you want sell out.

Not looking forward to Zeta after this.. couldnt get the lair I wanted even though I was queued before time. Still had to wait almost an hour to find that out though.

I would normally not be interested in four cards for $30, but the Ian Miller set has cool art. Not to mention [[Animar, Soul of Elements]] is worth $30 by itself.

I mean, go for it, but all I will say is that secret lairs sell well without your support. I know you're doing the right thing and voting with your wallet, but it seems like they're successful regardless.

They already announced they are going reevaluate Secret Lairs limited runs, and the Miku deck is testing the waters and some logistics, with a soft confirm of returning to print to demand. The next print to demand drop is likely soon, and eventually all drops in the not too distant future will be (able to be) print to demand.
All presumably the same situation as Miku where it’s a first 24-hour guaranteed order (limited quantity plus additional shipments on 6-8 month backorder).

They were very clear that print to demand would only be for special releases, such as decks, and not for regular drops.

Same. The cadence from Lorwyn to Strix to Marvel to Hobbit was super quick. Not to mention there's three Secret Lairs in the next two weeks. I'm out for a while.

Same, I plan on collecting the full Marvel set but I am waiting because I just can’t afford it and I can drop a few hundred bucks a month on hobby stuff so it’s not like I don’t have money. However with cadence and inflation I’m out for this and reality fracture and likely Star Trek too.

I’ll admit to being part of the problem. However, I got addicted during the print-to-order era. I usually do a price breakout for my friends who are new to Magic and let them know what packs would potentially be worth getting. Based on dollar value alone, there are plenty of packs in this drop that have some actual value packed in them, even skipping the cat tax that the LoFi Girl pack will have.
Will be trying. Will likely fail for all the reasons listed above. Also, I just like Marvel…

I went for Foil Lofi Girl, Dan Hipp and Gene Luen Yang.
I think that foil Lofi Girl is the fastest selling secret lair of the year so far.

It will be back up about 45 minutes from now. From there you can add things to your cart and join the prequeue until an hour afterwards.

Went to pay for the Ian Miller cards, it took my payment info (low stock) and then once my
Order went through, it said no longer in stock. Kind of insane…not sure why I can pay when it’s out of stock??

Haven’t done the pre-queue thing before. Is there any benefit joining it early? I’m guessing not as I joined immediately and still waiting 48 mins (I recognize this is preferable to an hour+), but trying to figure this whole thing out

Yes, if you join the pre queue you are randomised and placed into the queue so if you joined 1 minute late you would be added to the end of the randomised pre-queuers

I’m a day one Marvel Snap player and avid HIPP fan. I was able to get his lair in foil hours after the drop which was really nice. But it is low stock.

I love how these sell out within minutes of dropping. I teach and have zero chance to buy drops unless I take a day off of work. Just frustrated that yet another drop was missed (and will immediately be resold at a 200% mark up).

Was trying to get the Ian drop got sold out, didnt realize this set didnt have an option to buy non foil. Got the Dan Hipp drop for a Bristly bill. Another day another secret lair drop as it always has. At least I had options this time around.

Because they can get away with it. The Miku deck was a special case where it had months of hype, millions of fans, plenty of built up negativity at how the past few limited run special products went, and presumably a license holder that cared enough about its fans to put the pressure on WOTC to make it print to order. Most other lairs don't have any of these, so they're under no obligation to make it actually accessible. It sucks, but there's always a little bit of hope that things will improve

Bots aren't an issue with the randomized system. It is really easy to get in now with a computer now, if you do what all the other people that are getting in are doing with the dozens of firefox profiles.

People can share their queue ID with hundreds of bots and make hundreds of purchases on the same queue ID. They are absolutely an issue.

The queue is randomized to begin with, already getting rid of the main problem with bots. Sharing queue IDs doesn't work anymore, and hasn't for a while.

No. It's just an ugly, lazy, low effort criticism (the whole set is a criticism) by people who fancy themselves as artists but are really just LARPing as Andy Warhol.
I'll save my money and buy anime foils, TYVM.

It sells out when something in the bundle sells out, so when Lofi Girl sold out every bundle that had it in it also sold out.
