Different sleeves for mainboard and sideboard

Am I allowed to use different sleeves in my sideboard and mainboard? For instance, to make it easier to distinguish the two when playing Karn the Great Creator.

Obviously if one of the sideboard cards were to enter the deck, the sleeve would need to be changed to match the rest of the deck. However, if one of these sideboard cards enters my hand, will I need to change out the sleeve? What about when it enters the graveyard or exile?

Thank you

Combo Obelisk spider, blech with persistent and sac outlet

I have a question to a potential combo. I thought every combo would be listed at spellbook, but I couldn't find that. Therefore I doubt if this works.

On the field:

[[Persistent constrictor]]

At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, they lose 1 life and you put a -1/-1 counter on up to one target creature they control.

Persist (When this creature dies, if it had no -1/-1 counters on it, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control with a -1/-1 counter on it.)

[[Obelisk spider]]

Reach

Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a creature, put a -1/-1 counter on that creature.

Whenever you put one or more -1/-1 counters on a creature, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.

[[Blech]]

Whenever you gain life, put a +1/+1 counter on each Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider you control.

[[Viscera seer]]

Sacrifice a creature: Scry 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom.)

I sac persisten constrictor with viscera seer. Persistent constrictor comes back and it enters with a -1/-1 counter. This count as putting a counter on a creature, so obelisk spider triggers. Obelisks trigger goes on the stack and resolves after constrictor entered. I get 1 life, blech is triggered and adds a +1/+1 to constrictor. I sac constrictor again and repeat.

The only point i could imagine why this not works, is that obelisk is triggered before constrictor enters, but there is no sba check before constrictor enters, so it's on the field, when obelisk and blech resolves. Am I right?

Does a Roaming Throne Clone ETB Double Triggers?

I finished an [[Umbris, Fear Manifest]] clone deck and have been testing it, and I ran into an interaction with [[Roaming Throne]] that I'm curious about. (Sidenote, I did make a post asking about Umbris and [[Rite of Replication]] very recently if this sounds familiar.)

If I have Umbris and I put out a roaming throne, I know it enters as a Horror (in this case that's my creature type of choice), triggering the exiling. If I were to clone Roaming Throne, would THAT clone copy the following ETB, causing a total of 3 triggers (Umbris, the first roaming throne, and the RT clone), or would it only provide 2 triggers, not copying the trigger itself?

On the same line of thought, if I cast a kicked Rite of Replication on the roaming throne, do all 5 copies also copy each Umbris trigger, or no?

Can Twinshot Sniper be looped with Magda from deck?

My setup is already untapped infinite treasures.

Can I just play Twinshot Sniper, sacrifice with Legion Extruder and put him to the bottom of the deck with Barkform Harvester and put hin on the field with Magda, Brazen Outlaw?

I saw no primer showcasing that combo which made me insecure. It should work.

They always tend to use one ring and copy it and draw the whole deck. I assume they want to use the channel ability to avoid etb counters. However, does my time saving one work too?

I assume, it would be even more easier too just put in a Fire Nation Turret

Forgoten Ancient + Simic Supremacy

Hello everyone! I was wondering about the interaction of these two cards since they both trigger during the upkeep.

Specifically, if Simic Supremacy has less than 20 counters, can i resolve the ability of forgotten ancient first so it makes the counter on Sismic Supremacy go to 20 and then win the game?

I'm a bit confused on when do "at the beggining of your upkeep" abilities enter the stack and when they don't

Thanks for the help!

Roaming Throne, Y'shtola and Sigil of Sleep

Hello

As title suggests, Opp A has [[Roaming Throne]], [[Y'shtola, Night's Blessed]] with [[Sigil of Sleep]] attached. He was claiming that Sigil triggers twice due to Roaming but I argued that Sigil is not giving Y'Shotla an ability, it is the aura doing the affect. I argued that [[Helm of the Ghastlord]] gave an ability to the creature so it would trigger twice but Sigil does not.

Who is correct?

Rules clarification: "Bands with" and blocking

Rule 702.22j says:

During the combat damage step, if an attacking creature is being blocked by a creature with banding, or by both a [quality] creature with “bands with other [quality]” and another [quality] creature, the defending player (rather than the active player) chooses how the attacking creature’s damage is assigned. That player can divide that creature’s combat damage as they choose among any creatures blocking it. This is an exception to the procedure described in rule 510.1c.

Does that mean if I block a creature with, say, [[ayula queen among bears]], [[wilson refined grizzly]] and three [[grizzly bear]]s while controlling [[adventurers guildhouse]], could I assign the damage to the grizzly bears, even though they dont have any banding quality?

And if it were ayula and three grizzlys but no wilson, I couldnt, right?

How does Ryan Sinclair and the war doctor work?

Im making a «all lands» deck for fun, probably only playing it once or twice.

Im not too well versed with rulings and such, as I only play with my same group of friends, but I want to make sure this works. We usually ask ai to rule disagreements and most of the time just go with it.

I have multiple questions/problems:

Does [[war doctor]] get a counter for each land exiled, or only one counter? This was already answered in the other thread but want to make sure in this context.

Ai says that if [[ryan sinclair]] doesn’t find a non land card, the ability stops, and therefore he doesn’t return the lands back to the library, meaning you lose next turn. Is this correct?

If so, could you add any card with higher mana value than Ryan’s power into your deck to fix this? My thinking is that if you exile let’s say 20 lands before hitting your «rock», it then gets put at the bottom of the library, so every trigger onwards will always hit the «rock» lastly.

Am I right in thinking so, or do you have to shuffle the cards exiled before putting it on the bottom of your library?

Dauthi Voidwalker and Geth's Grimoire

My pod are trying to figure out the ruiling on this. Dauthi is on the field and Geth's Grimoire is as well. When an opponent discards, would I as the player be able to draw one card even if the card is being discarded then moved into exile?

Also - I have Anvil of Bogardan causing people to discard.

Thanks!

Gaining counters when gaining life, interaction questions

SOLVED

I am building a [[Karlov of the Ghost Council]] deck. He has "whenever you gain life, put 2 +1/+1 counter on Karlov". I have many cards like [[Soul Warden]] that gain life when creatures enter or X happens. I do also have cards like [[Cleric Class]], that when I gain life, I gain an additional life.

My question is, if a creature enters when I have Soul Warden and Cleric Class on the battlefield, then another creature enters, and Soul Warden triggers, then Cleric Class triggers, does Karlov triggering twice, meaning I get 4 counters because it's two instances of life gain, or do Soul Warden and Cleric Class count as one instance of life gain?

Observed Statis

My opponent has [[Shredder Shadow Master]] does a card like [[Observed Stasis]] have to be cast at the begging of combat to negate the creation of Shredder's token?
