New Subreddit for Newer Muscle Cars! /r/ModernMuscle - 80s to today
So its been discussed before here that this sub should stay true to the muscle cars of the '60s and '70s. I'm fine with that, but we still get a few posts a week of those posting newer muscle cars. This new sub is an attempt to give them a new home. As a fan of both eras, this is exciting. We are in need of sharing the new sub, so please do share the news where appropriate.
Moderators are needed here and the new sub. experience preferred. Message the mods to apply.
For those that think this subs should just allow newer models... No, but you can trying subscribing to both, combining them into a multireddit, or clicking the link http://reddit.com/r/MuscleCar+ModernMuscle

Bought a '70 Dart Swinger at 15 Years Old, daily driving at 19!
This is my good friend Ross' 1970 Dart, he's easily my youngest car guy buddy! Pretty rare to see a teen driving a 70's Mopar in 2026 as a daily AND he did a lot of work on the car. There is a documentary episode we filmed on his story i'll throw it in the comments if anyone wants to see it. This little 340 really ripps too! Was a fun drive!

1970 Acadian
Here are photos of a 1970 Acadian that I built during the summer on my parents carport when I was 17 (1983). I bought it for $275.00 to drive back and forth for College. At the end it looked like a fast car but only had a rebuilt inline 250 six cylinder engine. Faked out everyone. It was a major bondo bugle for sure. When I bought it, it was full of bonds and needed pretty much all new suspension front and back, brakes, floors, trunk floor, gas tank and had to get it running. Lots of reading - Thanks Hot Rod Magazine.

Chevrolet Frankenstien
This a car I built for myself in the early 2000's in my garage. It is actually started out as a 1972 Camaro. It was in pretty rough shape so I kind of used what I had to build one car. The front is a 1974 and the rear section is a 1978. 396 BB, Alston racing rear frame and 4-link suspension with a Ford 9" rear, 33x19.5 Mickey Thompson rear tires, Center Line Wheels, built 350 turbo trans and Limelight green paint and flat black hood (Frankenstein).

Built in 1991 still on the road now with a 454 big block!
This Nova is my good friend Ross' he built it with his buddy Henry in 1991 combining the drive train from a 69 Camaro and a 71 Nova. It became a street and strip machine and now in 2026 it's still going strong. Whole life it had a 350 now it's up to a 454. Was also the first Nova I have ever personally driven being my dream car it was a special moment. Probably the coolest part is we did a documentary about this car and everything was captured. I'll post the link below for anyone interested.

’68 Ford Torino GT 428 Cobra Jet in the wild...
Caught this one cruising along the frontage road next to the interstate out of Bozeman. I saw the car earlier in the day at a downtown car show. It was nice to see it tearing up some asphalt.
