Chickens of the wood

This year has been the best ever for mushroom hunters on this side of earth. My entire freezer is full, and I finally saved up enough to get my own dehydrator!

Very excited for the autumn hauls soon.

The pictures were taken through one month. There were so many more days out and so many more mushies! My biggest chantarell haul was over 5kg!! Not to mention the insane amount of boletus in this area. Needless to say, I've been eating well.

Sheffield area trying to find places to pick mushrooms as I have been told the time to do so is September does anyone know of any places where they grow and a place where there some what easy to access never picked them before or don't fully know what I'm looking for so any help would be much appreciated either someone coming with me and or just helping me out and giving me some guidelines thanks:) idk if this is against the rules if so please remove brand née to redit but love a good mushroom trip lmao

Got Craterellus tubaeformis to the left, one lonely Lactarius deterrimus and to the right some Pleurotus pulmonarius!

Found in north central florida. Does anybody know what type of mushrooms these are?

I saw this guy about halfway up a tree, which I'm not sure if that's unusual for Chicken of the Woods. Bright orange on top in a ring like formation, yellow with no pores or gills under. I'm really hoping it is because I've literally never seen it before. Thank you in advance!!!

Could you please help me identify these two species? I found them in the same forest, very close to each other, growing on dead trees covered with moss. The forest is mixed, there were pines, maples and aspens growing nearby. The location is Helsinki, Finland.

I guess the first one is a crown-tipped coral (artomyces pyxidatus)? And the second one looks like it could belong to the oyster family (pleurotus).

Found this massive guy close to my home (southern New England). Looks a bit old, but still appears to be in good shape.

These guys randomly popped up in the yard literally in a couple days.

Any idea what kind of mushrooms they are?

As the title suggests found this beautiful specimen. Any tips on cooking it? Im thinking teriyaki stir fry

We’re going to get really heavy rains over the next 10 hours. Cool weather, this mushroom is fairly sheltered. I am sure it could grow more, but don’t want it to get buggy and then miss my opportunity. What do you think?!
