My friends and I have been making a custom cube for the better part of a year now (no set themes, mostly joke cards, homebrew mechanics etc its all for fun) and one of the things we created was "Book" synergy and "Book tokens" based off of Myst. I made most of these with some help from a couple other friends who like Myst - I hope you get a kick out of them!

Side note: As I mentioned, this is a hodgepodge set with jokey cards, hence the spell type "Bisexual" (meaning it has two modes) and the creature type "Beasley"

Hi guys! I'm playing Myst Masterpiece Edition - my first time playing the game! I'm very near the end and got to the green book. Just to see what would happen, I grabbed the red page and took it in with me. Atrus gave me the spiel about needing the missing page and now I'm trying to get back to the library (I have the instructions from the torn pages). The trouble is, I can't figure out how to get back. I click the book on the desk and tried clicking the image, but it didn't do anything. Is it possible to actually lose the game permanently? Do I need to do everything over?

I'm reading the book of D'ni and something is bothering me. Unless I'm mistaken, at some point the Averonese youngsters decide that Irras will use a suit to test the strange Age written in the large Book with the strange, but familiar language, to make sure Atrus will be safe. Without Atrus and the rest knowing.

How does Atrus not pick up on this, seeing how Linking Books work? The return book would be left behind on the return trip, so Atrus would surely be missing that book during his preparations, and even if another book would take its place he surely would notice a small suit Linking Book laying around at the other side.

Am I missing a mechanic that the suits are special and do cause books not to be left behind, which is not how other Linking Books work in this universe?

First time playing Myst, the original version from 1993, not the Masterpiece version or the 2021 version, to be clear.

I've done pretty much everything in Channelwood. I've made it to the top, as in the third floor, and found both the blue and red page. Now I just need to find my way back to Myst Island, but I have no idea where the book back is and I don't see anything else that might help me find it.

Please, DON'T tell me exactly what I'm supposed to do, all I want is a little nudge in the right direction. Thank you!

Just to start: I Installed Revolution at the start and am currently half way through the game without issues thus far.

So heres the issue: I tried to load up Myst IV yesterday for live stream. I checked my equipment before stream, and game was fine. Suddenly when relaunched it, the hand was stuck in bottom right of screen. I tried closing and re-launching. I tried launching as admin. I tried changing the mouse poll. Even tried ending stream and restarting PC (very very embarrassing). No go. Mouse is perfectly fine on pc. Have been trying numerous other troubleshooting options but nothing is working.

Has anyone had this issue? Would reinstalling the game (steam) fix it? I really don't want to do this.
