Nagpur railway Junction parking went from ₹30/hour to ₹100/hour?!

I was at Nagpur Junction on 29 August to drop off my auth for a train scheduled for 1:45 PM.

The parking used to be around ₹30 for an hour. Now apparently it’s ₹100 per hour.

And here's the part that really pisses me off: her train was running more than an hour late.

I ended up being charged ₹200 for roughly 1.5 hours of parking.

₹100/hour for railway station parking is already ridiculous, but what exactly was I supposed to do? Leave the station and somehow magically come back when the train decided to arrive? My aunt was travelling alone, so I needed to make sure she got safely to her seat.

The delay wasn't my fault. I arrived based on the scheduled train time, the train was late, and because I had to wait, my parking time increased.

So the the train is delayed, but I'm the one paying extra for the delay. 😐

I understand charging for parking, but ₹100/hour at a railway station feels excessive, especially when passengers can end up paying more simply because their train is delayed.

Found something suspicious with parcel paperbag turns out this morons use CONSTRUCTION WASTE WRAPS specifically CertainTeed Kraft-Faced Fiberglass Building Insulation paper.

The printed text on the bag clearly displays building warnings ("Vapor Retarder facing should be applied toward heated area...") along with CertainTeed R-30 insulation branding.

Industrial kraft insulation backing uses non-food-grade asphalt/bitumen adhesives and phenolic resins, directly violating FSSAI (Section 3(1)) and FDA food-contact standards. 🥲

Not generic answer that police are not doing their job, but there is something seriously wrong happening underneath. It might be a bad education system or lack of jobs. Drugs is a part of it, but there is some wild culture is going on where juveniles who don’t have any prior criminal record are committing crimes for silly and not so provoking Thing’s. Have we lost Our way? Do people look like purpose ? What went wrong?
