Hi, I have a Nintendo DS Phat. I’ve swapped the charging port on it for a Type-C one, but when I plug the console into the charger, it switches off.

Everything else works fine: it charges, and once it’s charged, the battery works perfectly and it plays normally (the battery is new).

I soldered directly to EM10 straight away

I don’t understand what the problem might be?

Just found these in my closet the other day and I want to sell them. They are old but they do work perfectly normal and have no save data. Dm if you have questions or inquiries

I have a 3ds from a friend when it came out, played Mario 3D and Mask of Majora, 3D was cool but screen was a little small. Now I am wondering which one to get: some games I have and want to play: heartgold, chrono trigger, want to buy the wirld ends with you, maybe raidant historia. too many titles!

should I get DSiXL (heard best from DS games) or a new 3DSXL (most compatibility, but will I be sacrificing the image quality too much?

So while cleaning I stumbled across a second DS I honestly didn't remember I had and thought "well my white one is close to retirement anyways so might as well keep it" just picked up a new game and thought "should see if this thing still works"

It dose but at first it didn't wanna read the cartridges. I first I thought it was a flaw and then thought "did the game store just sell me a faulty game by mistake?" No it works I quickly tested it in my DS XL- after testing a few other games I realized it wasn't the games itself but the DS- after some tinkering in the settings I managed to get it to work by switching the manual to Auto where the game should just open on its own and that seem to fix the problem.

Just​ curious if this has happen to anyone else cuz just threw me off

(Edit: and No I'm not gonna throw out the DS it works fine now I was just askeding if anyone ever had a similar experience)

Hey guys I'm trying to use the autoboot feature of the twilight menu ++ on my cyclods evolution, (on a DS lite) but I don't know what to do? I tried renaming the BOOT.nds file to autoboot.nds like this comment said, but it isn't working. Any help is appreciated

I have my DSi XL and I'm looking for a carrying case for it. Ideally something big enough to hold 8ish games, and a charger. I have one right now, but it's a little too big to just carry with me or toss in my bag when I'm on the go, so I'm looking for suggestions!

I’m basically just ranting on why the DS lite is better then the switch lite

I recently wanted to try homebrew on my DSi and tried to look for a flashcart. Issue is there seem to be a lot and I was wondering which one is generally recommended by the community instead of having to deal with getting scammed or getting a bad one. Any options recommended would be appreciated.
