Hi, next weekend I will be competing in an off meta tournament. Our rules for picks are that you can only pick champions with less than a 0.5% play rate in your lane and/or build 2 items that have less than a 0.5% play rate as your first two, and you can't play champs you've played in ranked this season.

I'm playing top for one of the teams and want to be able to play Lucian, Nautilus, and Neeko. Lucian and Naut are simple enough, I'll just build normal marksman and toplane tank items respectively. However, I'm unsure what to do for Neeko. Is it best to play her on-hit for top, or do a normal AP burst build? If on-hit, is it better to build guinsoos, Bork, and terminus, or work in some more AP with a nashors and/or dusk and dawn? Her cooldowns are so long that DaD seems a bit weird but maybe it's worth it to enable Press the Attack and W passive?

Hello! I'm unfortunately back to playing League after nearly a year.

I'm only playing Aram because I don't have fun in other game modes, and I've noticed I'm really struggling playing as Neeko. I used to have a high KDA back then, now I always end up negative or with an average KDA. This could be because I haven't played League in a while, but I haven't noticed the same pattern with other champions I play with. I did play with her on a normal map once, and the damage was OK, but she still feels weaker than what I was used to.

She feels way squishier, and I always deal less damage than I expect. Sometimes I can't even ult because people kill me a second before she lands. I threw my Q on a Lissandra when we were both level 5 (on Aram, and we hadn't died yet), and it dealt less than a third of her health bar. She didn't even bother to move. I guess it was just tickling her instead.

I really hope I'm wrong because I love this champion, and I've been a main since she came out.

Its been a really long time since I last played lol frequently, but those last few days I came back and started to play sup.

Does neeko tank still works as a support? I always wanted to try it before but couldnt do it in the midlane

Hello! I am an ADC main and usually play swift or draft. I play Aphelios, MF, Smolder, Seraphine, among other popular ADCs when they are strong.

I see Neeko quite a bit and I was wondering how you guys tend to play? Etc when you are in the minion wave as a minion, do I try to bait them into you (and possibly risk getting both of us hit/rooted etc) or wiggle in a bush? When you are pretending to be me, what do I do? Should I hide, not use abilities and confuse them, etc.

I've also seen Neekos pretend to be junglers or fake recall in the middle of the wave. What do y'all typically want us to do? I usually just more or less “ignore” her and pay more attention to how the other team is reacting. If they get baited, I go in. If they back up in fear, I just give Neeko a mental high five.

I'm a new player and I want to be able to deal solid damage with auto-attacks alongside my abilities. Relying strictly on skills feels less satisfying to play, so I came up with this hybrid build concept:

Core Build Draft:

* Nashor’s Tooth

* Guinsoo’s Rageblade

* Berserker's Greaves

* Rabadon's Deathcap

* Shadowflame

* Flex Slot: Malignance / Void Staff / Morellonomicon / Luden's Companion / Zhonya

What are your thoughts and recommendations on this setup?

This isn't a neeko exclusive problem but ALL AP supports are dying. The MR buffs meant to combat mage bot lanes are even more effective against ap supports.

AP supports like neeko have all the power budget in early game Magic damage and CC. A blanket buff to magic resist to the early game or all marksmen shrinks or closes the window considerably to make an impact.

This has compounded from nerfs to the realm Spike support item over many patches. I rlly hope they rework or buff that support upgrade because AP supports are my favorite.

What are you guys building on support right now? Im trying to find the perfect build. Im diamond/master and the standard ap build doesnt seem to be the optimal one in this elo. I usually go mandate first item instead of rocketbelt because i think rocketbelt has been nerfed to death and i have usually no problem catching them without it. Any advice on what to build generally ? I also tend to buy locket, knights vow and depending on the match ups frozen heart and abyssal. Is mandate still worth getting? What are you building on her?

Dragonscale Neeko (turn her into a little dragon)

Faerie Court Neeko (feel like this would fit her whole theme really well)

Definitely Not Neeko (Basically her base skin but she has HUGE googly eyes or just an absolutely massive chameleon head. Or just a tomato as a head ANYTHING)

Any other ideas?

Hi guys. Ive been on a personal mission trying all of the champions moved from mid to support, in their original lane. I have wanted to try neeko since I started but I cant quite find a good neeko mid build. Ive seen that rocketbelt is a “core item on her” but I dont know what else to build. I was thinking about trying mandate since it works well on mages with 2cc spells( Seraphine, morgana, lissandra etc). Also runes electrocute or comet?
