This is foster kitten/“rent to own” as my dad calls it. We renamed her to Dolly, before the passing of our queen Dolly. She is likely also blind/mostly blind.

Cerebellar Hypoplasia ("Stevie Syndrome") Hopefully my last post because I don’t think I have any more questions!

Likely my last post about Igor because, other than being a little messy with the litter box, I honestly haven’t had any issues. He’s just been an absolute joy. I usually take in dogs that need extra care, but taking on a special-needs cat terrified me. Real estate agent + cat pee = nightmare. But you haven’t lived until you have a tiny wobbly guy thump-thumping behind you everywhere and wake up to one loving eye staring at you. He’s my mascot.

Lt. Donut Dan sleeps with the pup there was some cautious concern about, the reason he was a foster-to-adopt instead of an outright adoption from day 1. Needless to say, he’s fully integrated with his new family!

“Donut has been officially adopted into the family. We adore him. Thank you for raising him for us. We are forever grateful. The boys call him Lieutenant Dan. But in honor of your sweet daughter, I call him Donut Dan. :) Thank you again!” 🥹😭🥰

Bedtime

I love getting off the couch, telling my babies "It's bedtime" and having them race me to the bedroom. They'll wander the house again later, but for a minute we are everything to each other.

I have a 20 month old CH,(Lily) and a 5 month old "normie?" (Ella). About two weeks ago I finally let ElIa out of ringworm quarantine. Three days ago she went back into "quarantine " after spay surgery. I let Ella back out into GenPop tonight. She's much more of a menace! I know it will get better. Both kitties get along well. But OMG! it's a good thing they're cute! It'll only be about six months before the personalities calm down enough for me to relax again. I initially wanted another CH, but this may be better? At least just as good, only different. The CDS doesn't take requests. I knew ESA was real, but I never fully understood their benefit until recently. I love my little girls. BTW, I'm a 60 year old male. I say that to let others know it's a good thing to love and need a companion.

Gulliver Phelps & Twerkulator, the dynamic duo that started our wobbly cat journey. Without them we would have never been able to meet Bjorn & DJBC, never have met the amazing squervies or the widespread CH groups. Miss them so much

I little while ago I posted a video of Gatsby tumbling off the windowsill while hunting a bug. I had no luck finding a window grate that didn't use tension or screws since it's a double case window with a metal frame.

I learned you can buy individual Guinea pig cage panels. They stand up well but I might get adhesive magnets for extra security since I don't want it to fall on him, but they're lightweight so I'm not too worried.

You can get the 14" square and L shaped panels here: https://guineapigcagecompany.com

I'm sure he'll find a brand new way to get into trouble within a week. ❤️
