batt and roll allows air permeation. Vehicles are different than buildings, Subjected to higher temp swings and less time spent with an AC running to dehumidify it. Lower air volume to offset the humidity of multiple human bodies.

Why go through the hassle of fully insulating it if you’re going to sleep in a cardboard box on the roof?
