Triple flair is a misnomer. It’s more of a 180 triple backflip or double backflip flair.

Flair actually is short for flip air. So triple flair still works.

I know what it is. Been riding BMX for two and a half decades. Flair is short for flip air, and this fits the bill of a triple flip air (180). So triple flair.

Doesn't matter what it's short for. Flip air doesn't specify there is a 180 involved. By that logic any flip done in the air would be a flair.

A flair is a backflip with a 180. So triple flair would be 3x backflip with a 540. I've been riding BMX since 92.

To add, I would call a backflip 180 off a kicker to flat, for instance, a flair. Flair is only a quarter.
