I can't help feeling a bit frustrated that the news of the bid being accepted leaked before the Everton match so the fans could protest against it.

We're clearly after a young midfielder given the bids for Armstrong and Nyoni.

Looks like we're after a goalie too with the Henderson bid and reported interest in Mamardashvilli.

We want another option for behind the striker with the Murphy bid.

If Abbott and Morato go I'd say we need another centre-half.

If Kalimuendo goes I'd also say we need someone else to play as a number 9 or 10 or someone who can cover both.

Could be four or five ins and a couple of outs, but as of yet nothing seems close to completion. Another manic day for the recruitment team.

Whilst we wait to find out who we've actually signed for the season let's have a little "what if" fun. Setting aside all financial considerations, which Premier League player from another club would you sign for Forest if you were the boss?

Are you guys as concerned as me about the few pieces we’re obviously missing not getting sorted out yet?

Looks like we in for a goalie, a midfielder, another defensive player and perhaps a creative 10/winger as we just lost some of the little creativity left in this team when Hutch were sent to Milano. If Kali is sold too, as it have been reported as a possibility, aren’t we a bit thin up front? And in terms of creativity, Macca and MGW can bring it, to some extent CHO if fit, but who else?

Glasner hinted quite publicly that we need more quality with his comments on losing Anderson. A bit worried that Delap and Muñoz, however excited about them I am, aren’t enough.

I don’t know, seems like the teams we expect to compete against are doing some really nice, clever quality deals pulling players I’d hoped we’d look at - and all I read is scousers rejecting our bids.

So going into tomorrow what possible deals are we aware of?
