hey all, i had a n-gage qd in 2007/8. mine broke around that time. i got a new one now from ebay. i am trying to remember a game that i played. i dont really know the name. heres what i remember
- the name may have had laser/mirror
- you play by seeing a top view house's layout (vaguely remembering it)
- the game has a main laser inside a house, you have to arrange mirrors in the game to make the laser reach a destination?
thats what i remember. please help identifying this game if you can
EDIT:
- mirrors you can rotate and make the laser beam reflect in different directions
EDIT 2
It is probably Lafix. It is 80 percent similar from the screenshots of the game. Couldn’t find a version of the game yet.

Saw an option for a 'broken' ngage, but im pretty sure the problem is the battery itself because is so bloated, is the size of the ngage lol, so im going to pick it.
Looking for a battery, i saw this BL-5C with a very hight capacity, but im not sure if it will fit on my Ngage. I guess it will, but i prefer to ask here.

I like to make this device of mine in different styles, and that too with my own hands. (This is a customized handmade front housing.)

This has been made by me myself.
In India, I am the only one who makes this.

A rare collector's item: a Nokia N-Gage lanyard. It was used by security personnel to display their ID badges during Nokia's inaugural marketing event promoting the N-Gage console. I'd like to sell it to good hands

It was the same rainy season when I bought my first mobile phone — a Nokia N-Gage QD — and at that time, I was in 10th class.

I just found this console at a secondhand market here in Mexico. Do you know if there's any way to add games to it without buying the original memory cards? Everything works perfectly; in fact, I bought it for about $45 with an Atari game already included.

I've been collecting N-Gage prototype cards for quite a while, and the more cards I find, the more questions I have.
From my observations:
• G1.5 usually contains very early alpha builds. • G2.0 is often beta or pre-release software used for press/demo purposes. • G3.0 is usually very close to the retail release.
But there are many exceptions.
Some G1.5 builds are almost identical to retail, while some G2.0 cards contain much older software than you would expect.
Have you ever found a card that completely broke your expectations?
I'd be really interested to hear your observations, theories, or comparisons.

Took a gamble on an untested ngage qd that included a game from eBay with $50 offer to seller. Works perfectly after purchasing a new battery and charger. Was it a good deal?

I've been trying to power on my old ngage but having a display problem with it. Anyone come across this one before and have any luck with a fix? (I've disassembled and cleaned everyting with IPA so far.)

Hello!
I recently (and mistakenly) bought a PROTO Nokia N-Gage QD while looking for an N-Gage system.
While unplugged, the screen occasionally flashes white, but immediately cuts out. The system only seems to do something when plugged into constant power, and that something is take a while to boot up and then ask for a SIM card. But it’s something!
I’ve already found another similar system that isn’t a PROTO system, so I don’t really need this one, but I just wanted to ask around here if there’s anything special or worthwhile or necessary to do to make this one as workable or valuable as possible. I’m aware that game saves do not work for a system like this one due to the unique software, but I’m sure someone out there cares about collecting something like this.
Let me know if there’s anything about this thing that makes it worth keeping!

I’ve been seeing online that ngage qd sometimes needs to be flashed? Is that what is happening with mine? Thank you all so much

Hello everyone, after my previous post I realized that there are still many people passionate about the N-Gage platform. I recently went through some old items from my collection and found several NFR / pre-release cards (G1.5, G2.0, G3.0).
I’m curious how valuable or interesting these kinds of items are to collectors today. Some of them were internal builds, some promo/journalist versions, and a few are titles I almost never see mentioned anywhere.
I attached a small part of the collection below just to hear opinions from people who understand this niche better than I do.
Would be interesting to know what people think about their rarity and approximate value today. All thoughts and advice more than welcome 🙏🏻

Hey! I'm a contributor on The Cover Project, a not for profit website meant to preserve and make publicly available covers for video game boxes. This serves both to help save these pieces of art and history, but also to help any collectors who, for example, have games loose without the original boxes and wish to display them. I recently spoke to the owner and convinced him to add a Nokia N-Gage category to the website. However, I only have one game, and we could do some help getting a greater amount of high quality scans, so if you have any N-Gage games please help us out.
You can make an account on the website, thecoverproject.net , but it can be a bit finicky so if you prefer feel free to reply to this or DM me and send me any scans over, which I can adjust and upload.
Many thanks!

Hello everyone, my name is R2, and I am sincerely surprised that the N-Gage platform, which I also played a small role in, is still appreciated today.
I have preserved a significant number of different game builds — G1.5, G2.0, and G3.0 — which have been in my collection since the early days of the platform.
At this stage in my life, I am going through some changes, and I would like these collectible items that I have carefully kept for so many years to go to people who truly value and understand them.
If you are interested in knowing more, please reach out.
Thank you.

i bought an N-Gage QD from an ebay seller around a month ago and while I'm enjoying it, it occasionaly stutters during games. Does this normally happen with n-gage QDs? If not, is mine even real?
