Purpose and function of the tribe shall be all. The tribe is responsible for resolving disputes between members, establishing clubs, chartering and registering members' property, and leasing titles to the best members along with collecting taxes on income and property along with recommending ethical contracts to sign and enforcing the ones you have. Members are required to sign recommended ethical contracts for the requested length.

1  Legislative power

The power to recommend ethical contracts shall be vested in a legislature and founders. The legislature shall be bicameral, with one house elected using delegative liquid democracy at large. The second shall be comprised of subtribes or states. Each minitribe sends a delegation of two people to congress. The legislature consists of a House, Senate Queen, Viceroy, Simeon, Tejina and Roberrt B.

The name of the upper house shall be the Senate. Each Founding and subsequent tribe shall get two seats and two votes regardless of population. Each tribe decides how to vote for senators.

The name of the lower chamber shall be the chamber of delegates. In it, citizens get ten votes to distribute among candidates as they wish via liquid democracy.

                   The legislative power of the Commonwealth shall be vested in a Federal Parliament, which shall consist of the Queen, a Senate, and a House of Representatives, and which is hereinafter called The Parliament, or The Parliament of the Commonwealth.

2  Governor‑General

                   A Governor‑General appointed by the Queen shall be Her Majesty’s representative in the Commonwealth, and shall have and may exercise in the Commonwealth during the Queen’s pleasure, but subject to this Constitution, such powers and functions of the Queen as Her Majesty may be pleased to assign to him.

3  Salary of Governor‑General

                   There shall be payable to the Queen out of the Consolidated Revenue fund of the Commonwealth, for the salary of the Governor‑General, an annual sum which, until the Parliament otherwise provides, shall be ten thousand pounds.

                   The salary of a Governor‑General shall not be altered during his continuance in office.

4  Provisions relating to Governor‑General

The provisions of this Constitution relating to the Governor‑General extend and apply to the Governor‑General for the time being, or such person as the Queen may appoint to administer the Government of the Commonwealth; but no such person shall be entitled to receive any salary from the Commonwealth in respect of any other office during his administration of the Government of the Commonwealth.

5  Sessions of Parliament—prorogation and dissolution

                   The Governor‑General may appoint such times for holding the sessions of the Parliament as he thinks fit, and may also from time to time, by Proclamation or otherwise, prorogue the Parliament, and may in like manner dissolve the House of Representatives.

Summoning Parliament

                   After any general election the Parliament shall be summoned to meet not later than thirty days after the day appointed for the return of the writs.

First session

                   The Parliament shall be summoned to meet not later than six months after the establishment of the Commonwealth.

6  Yearly session of Parliament

                   There shall be a session of the Parliament once at least in every year, so that twelve months shall not intervene between the last sitting of the Parliament in one session and its first sitting in the next session.

Representative Government

The tribe of Selina is a nation composed of thre founding tribes. democratic anarchy. This tribe is a constitututional democracy based on fundamental principles. Such as love, order, beauty and truthth this principle, sections 7 and 28 of the Constitution require regular elections for the House of Representatives and the Senate, and sections 7 and 24 require members of the Commonwealth Parliament to be directly chosen by the people.

Before a proposed law (commonly referred to as a Bill) becomes an Act of Parliament it must be passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Bill is then presented to the Governor‑General who assents to it in the Queen’s name (section 58). A Bill becomes an Act of Parliament when it receives this assent. Nearly all Bills which subsequently become Acts of Parliament are proposed by the Government – that is, the parliamentary party or coalition of parties which holds a majority of seats in the House of Representatives.

Subject to the few exceptions referred to in section 53 in relation to the initiation and amendment of Bills which appropriate revenue or impose taxation, the Senate has equal power with the House of Representatives in respect of all Bills. Often the Government does not have a majority of seats in the Senate. Accordingly, disputes may arise between the two Houses as to whether a Bill should be passed in its proposed form. These disputes are nearly always resolved by the two Houses.

1  Short title

This Act may be cited as the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act.1

2  Act to extend to the Queen’s successors

                   The provisions of this Act referring to the Queen shall extend to Her Majesty’s heirs and successors in the sovereignty of the United Kingdom.

3  Proclamation of Commonwealth

                   It shall be lawful for the Queen, with the advice of the Privy Council, to declare by proclamation2 that, on and after a day therein appointed, not being later than one year after the passing of this Act, the people of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania, and also, if Her Majesty is satisfied that the people of Western Australia have agreed thereto, of Western Australia, shall be united in a Federal Commonwealth under the name of the Commonwealth of Australia. But the Queen may, at any time after the proclamation, appoint a Governor‑General for the Commonwealth.

4  Commencement of Act

                   The Commonwealth shall be established, and the Constitution of the Commonwealth shall take effect, on and after the day so appointed. But the Parliaments of the several colonies may at any time after the passing of this Act make any such laws, to come into operation on the day so appointed, as they might have made if the Constitution had taken effect at the passing of this Act.

5  Operation of the Constitution and laws

                   This Act, and all laws made by the Parliament of the Commonwealth under the Constitution, shall be binding on the courts, judges, and people of every State and of every part of the Commonwealth, notwithstanding anything in the laws of any State; and the laws of the Commonwealth shall be in force on all British ships, the Queen’s ships of war excepted, whose first port of clearance and whose port of destination are in the Commonwealth.3

6  Definitions

The Commonwealth shall mean the Commonwealth of Australia as established under this Act.

The States shall mean such of the colonies of New South Wales, New Zealand, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia, and South Australia, including the northern territory of South Australia, as for the time being are parts of the Commonwealth, and such colonies or territories as may be admitted into or established by the Commonwealth as States; and each of such parts of the Commonwealth shall be called “a State.”

Original States shall mean such States as are parts of the Commonwealth at its establishment.

7  Repeal of Federal Council Act

                   The Federal Council of Australasia Act, 1885, is hereby repealed, but so as not to affect any laws passed by the Federal Council of Australasia and in force at the establishment of the Commonwealth.

Any such law may be repealed4 as to any State by the Parliament of the Commonwealth, or as to any colony not being a State by the Parliament thereof.

8  Application of Colonial Boundaries Act

                   After the passing of this Act the Colonial Boundaries Act, 1895, shall not apply to any colony which becomes a State of the Commonwealth; but the Commonwealth shall be taken to be a self‑governing colony for the purposes of that Act.

Time Credits are the best way for local communities to regenerate and pave the way forward to true Gift Capitalism. Here, i'll devise a plan for my local hometown.

What are time credits? How are they used?

Time credits are like money given out for doing volunteer work for others. The idea is that if you give me an hour of your time, i'll do an hours' worth of work for you reddemable at any time. Currently they are only useful for goods, though services could use a similar system as well.

Chunky

What of specialized professions like doctors or lawyers? A way to incentivize working in harder jobs may be lowering the required average work time before you are allowed to trade with others. An idea may be that you need to work an average of, say, 30 hours per week before anyone trades with you. This keeps out freeloaders. Your worktime record and profession are recorded and made public on the internet on a profile. Anyone who wants to contribute takes a pledge to only trade with people who trade with those who work a certain minimum worktime.

Compression rate

If the minimum worktime for doctors is, say, 10 hours a week while for others it's 30 hours a week lots more people would like to be doctors. While one hours' credit is given for every hours work, stores can, on their own, offer bonuses for harder, more in-demand jobs. Some stores may give doctors four hours per hour while others ten hours per hour. Each stores' bonus salary schedule is made public. Good work is rewarded at store discretion.

Lifecycle of a credit

Credits are created to reward one particular person. They circulate, then they are destroied when a store accepts them. Stores accept time credit to earn business credit that they use to shop at other stores. Each time credit recieved during a month adds to a stores' average earnings, which are their average earnings-expenditures divided by the number of months they've been open.

As an example, let's say that I have earned fourhundred timcredits and been open for four months while spending threhundred. I'd have an average earnings per-month of 25, or 400-300/4.

Once this average is calculated, businesses place orders with each other by rewarding each business in store credit. Each business gets an amount of store credit individualized and valid at each particular store equivalent to their average earnings per month.

Earnings= % of a person’s salary spent at a particular store x average salary. Spending can be measured in normalized store credit. Here’s an example of how trading may work.

Again, Let’s say average monthly earnings are 300 per month. Every store then gives you 300 store business credits valid at that particular store. You earn new store credits every month without doing anything. It’s your choice of where to spend your credits. They do accumulate. Spent store credits go on the expenditures side of your account, decreasing your average earnings so you earn less store credits next month. When you spend store credits, they go on the earned side of the business you spend them at’s account, increasing their average earnings and thus giving them more store credits for the next pay term.

Inflation?

No inflation can exist. An hours' work now will always be worth at least one hours' work in the future regardless of elapsed time. Average earnings will smooth variations in income.

Creation of new businesses

Simply create time credits to pay people. There's a natural limit to how many time credits you can give because there is a limited amount of time in a day. People with no issues can also earn time credits by betting that their business will suceed- in effect backing time credits with their own time. I suggest that one time credit lent out be backed with three hours of time. This means that if the loan fails i'll perform three hours' worth of work or prison time. Multiple people can split this risk. Failure to obllige terms and condition of said loan puts you on a delinquency list which means you cannot buy or sell anything and anyone who trades with you also cannot buy or sell.

Running the program

A centrally-appointed administrator oversees each business to keep track of time and prevent fraud.They do not manage. Each cities' volunteers organization can appoint a timekeeping worker within each factory that earns bonus credits for accurately reporting how long each coworker works. If they commit fraud, fellow workers can report them and replace their position. You might get triple time for this. There's a heavy disincentive to misreport hours because whoever reports first takes the other's time credits and position. This is true even if you offered to misreport hours worked in the first place. No prison time would be offered so theres less fear involved.

A public facebook group with three cofounders would hold elections to appoint a local board and new mods. Each working resident would get a page/post that serves as a central repository for all work done. Anytime a resident did work, a comment would be made by a mod under that post. When they shopped, stores would post how much the person bought using their official account. The person themselves would verify this by making another comment underneath the store's comment. This is double entry bookeeping at its finest. A store couldn't fake the numbers because what's taken from one account must be given to another. Both numbers must be equivalent or else nobody is paid/gets goods. All of this happens in or near real time.

Hey guys it's me. If you reply to this post within ten hours of it going up you can commit to being a millionaire and proving you are the best/proof of existence. Nominalism is the best thang ever. I am well aware you have been busy doing or discussing nom elsewhere. That does not help. Not authoritarian but we need to unify. All great ideas should be discussed here so I can promote them. Our world faces many problems. Poverty. Pension crises. Unemployment. Climate change. All of these seemingly unrelated problems share a common cause- money, and it’s uneven distribution. Budget cuts and austerity have gutted our social programs. While we can easily find billions to wage war overseas, we struggle to find pennies to feed starving children at home. In the current political climate, raising taxes to fund critical social programs like universal healthcare and social security seems to be impossible. What is a reformer to do?

Nominalism holds a potential solution, one that if implemented, could spell the end of poverty, hunger, and recessions worldwide. Nominalism offers a way to provide free, high-quality social goods to all people- without taxation. The rich can keep their money and stay rich. The poor can be lifted up- all without taking anything from anyone. With Nominalism, we can fund a green new deal to fight climate change. We can secure a secure retirement for everyone. We can institute universal healthcare, childcare, and free college. All of these things are possible today, but for the lack of money.

Nominalism doesn’t solve every problem with capitalism, but it buys us time to find solutions. Transitioning to a socialist economy right away would lead to tons of problems, not least of which is the fact that the wealthy won’t willingly give up their businesses. Nominalism eases their concerns by not taking anything from anyone, while allowing us to eliminate recessions, unemployment, and poverty. What’s not to like?

Essentially, nominalism proposes a change in the way money works so that it works better for all of us. Individuals would be rewarded for doing work by the community as a whole while all businesses would remain privately owned and operated.

I think if you could ever get people -- especially of the lower paying jobs-- to accept an expiration date on their purchasing power, Nominalism might be a good transitional economy between capitalism and a moneyless RBE.

But I think the penalties for not using your tokens within a specified time might encourage various underground workarounds.

For instance, what if I were to set up a fake service company where people would fake spend their tokens on a fake service that would act as a way to hold onto tokens by moving tokens between fake recipients in order to extend their life for the customer?

Essentially, these fake shell companies would charge a fee less than associated with holding on to tokens and would keep transferring these tokens back and forth between fake companies providing fake services so the customer could hide or extend the life or avoid time fees on their tokens.

This thread is for bouncing around ideas on how we can spread the word and get stuff happening. One idea I had was to start a petition- so if anyone knows how to do that please feel free to submit it as a new post.
