Local Knowledge Please!
My wife and I are thinking about moving to this area of Vista. We have a 1 year old, and I want to make it’s a safe area. It’s on a street off Knoll Rd. Thank you guys!

If I were you, I'd venture towards these neighborhoods at different times of the day. I'd definitely scope it out at night.

On a hood level between 1-5 its a 2. Not in constant danger but make sure to lock all doors and windows when not in use. Near by closer to VV a little more north east is a 3 because VV and the transit causes people to cross paths which results in fights that can lead to a gun being pulled and used

Not too far south east of there is Santa Fe Hills in San Marcos. There are still a couple less than a million there. It was nice 10 years ago.

Not very walkable but live off copper/ferrara for close to 15 years. Not a bad place. But not the best either. It's a good starter home area but not a forever home.
