Fortran: which led to
Basic: which led to Commodore 64
Which led to cartridges
Which led to floppy disks and FD player
Which led to IBM getting into the PC market
Which led to an unknown language and process becoming the standard,
Which led to all of us Amateurs being chocked out of the home computer market.
I am old enough to have seen the evolution of personal computers and gaming consoles.
I was 6 when I got my first gaming system, the Atari Pong, brand new in the box and only out for about a year at that point.
I was 15 when Windows 1 came out and haven't had to use DOS since.
So forgive me if I couldn't remember what direction the slash leans, I was 15 when I started smoking weed and have smoked a lot since then so some things that have no impact on my life today like the way a slash goes / or \ in DOS is not a priority in my memory bank lol
