I am trying to run two instances of Dragon ball sparking Z and whenever I try to run it I am just greeted with a command prompt that says

Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentException: The path is not of a legal form.

at System.IO.Path.NormalizePath(String path, Boolean fullCheck, Int32 maxPathLength, Boolean expandShortPaths)

at System.IO.Path.InternalGetDirectoryName(String path)

at Nucleus.Inject.Program.StartupHook(String[] args, Int32 i, Boolean is64)

at Nucleus.Inject.Program.Main(String[] args)

Once I close that then nucleus tells me the Input string is not in correct format. What does this mean?

Hey, I’m trying to figure out if this is possible with the current PEAK Nucleus Co-Op handler.

What I want to do:

PC 1: 2 players running PEAK through Nucleus Co-Op

PC 2: 1 friend on another PC

Im trying to play Gmod with my kiddo. Keyboard and mouse and virtual keyboard and virtual mouse (not the issues) , but I keep having issues. Gmod loads in and then can't load the menu, and due to forcing -insecure, I can't access my own Gmod server i own and operate. I just wanna play with him. What do i DO? i just wanna play local multiplayer with him, as PC's in his country arent affordable

I’ve changed my player 1 to have Lulu instead of Chuck, is there a way to make it so player 2 just has Chuck again? Or Vice Versa.

I’m assuming but you don’t know if you don’t ask.

Could I maybe have the second instance load from a different file location?

Hi everyone. I'm having an issue with TModLoader. A friend and I are trying to run it on a single computer, but it’s not working. What happens is that the first window opens, then the second, and then either the first or the second window closes. We’ve tried a lot of things: running as administrator, using ProtoInput, and even uninstalling and reinstalling everything. We’ve also cleared out all the mods, but nothing helps—we're at our wits' end. Has anyone else encountered this?

Is it actually stable? Am I able to play the whole story mode coop with a friend? I have the enhanced edition.

IVE ALREADY CHECKED FAQ THERE IS NOTHING TO FIX IT

First I had a problem with not recognising my ps5 controller, then double input from said controller - fixed it. Now there is a problem with mouse on the other screen - after pressing end key, buttons stop working, other player cant climb, or use items. Meanwhile on my screen when im trying to point with my controller, it points somwhere outside my screen. No idea how to fix it.

both instances are shown as player 2 so i can’t connect them, changing steam id does nothing neither does changing the steam ida inside the folder, any help?

The latest update for terraria is 1.4.5.7. Both the base game and TmodLoader is booting up with 1.4.4.9 update. I have deleted the handler and redownloaded, but no luck.

I did ask before and someone said to delete instances in content folder....there were none. They also said to uncheck if the setting was checked....I have no idea what they were talking about.

I tried completely deleting the game and reinstalling, didn't help

The raft beta mode offers controller support, but the handler I'm using doesn't support controllers. Does anyone have a handler that offers controller support?

as we already have a Handler for War in the North (non legacy) i wanted to ask if we can have an additional one for the newly released Legacy Edition. The new Version seems to be way better at Engine and Resource-Consumption and i was hoping to finally beeing able starting 3 working instances. This is literally not possible with the old one (or game Engine i presume).

so, how do i request a new (or updated??) Handler?

The non-legacy Handler expects a binkw32.dll in the executable Folder, but the new Version is missing this one. But it ships bink2w64.dll. Maybe this does help :)

Hello I'm trying to play the forest on split screen with two controllers. Everything works fine up until the point I want to save the game on the host's screen -- it doesn't allow me to select a save file. I also have the same problem with going into my options menu -- doesn't work for the host. But everything works fine for the guest. Please help, how did y'all get this to work.

Hi, me and my friend are trying to play ds2 SOTFS and after following multiple guides something keeps messing up. First it was the controllers not being detected and now i get this error message when starting the game. I've also done all these steps to fix it and nothing helps, is anyone able to help me

I’ve always dreamed of playing Harry Potter 2 pc in multiplayer, and yesterday I finally released a working test version.

I actually saw a Reddit thread from a month ago where someone tried this, but it was macOS-only and closed-source. Mine is 100% open-source, runs on Windows (via a simple .bat file), and syncs much better (i hope)

Where it’s at right now:

• Playable co-op: You and a friend can join and run around together right now.
• Synced mechanics: Player movement and balance syncing are working.
• WIP: Duels work (though your friend stands awkwardly off to the side for now lol), and not all scenes are synced yet.

I’ll keep updating it in my free time. The GitHub README has setup instructions for players.

Hey guys! I’m looking for suggestions for games that run 8 player split screen/local multiplayer well and actually have the functionality working in your experience.

So far The Master Chief Collection runs great. I originally planned on using the original Call of Duty: MW2, but unfortunately it wouldn’t properly split the controls between players….

I’d controller multiple screens at once regardless of loading in everything and then hitting the END or N key. It does run all 8 screens fine, though.

I’m trying to put together an 8 player setup for my birthday, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
The only other game I know of that might work is Minecraft. What else should I check out??

My friend enters the code and joins fine but we just get stuck on a black screen. I quit out and play it singleplayer and it's fine. One thing is they don't own the game and are using the friend pass but they don't get any message to say they can't play the DLC.

New here as I really only use nucleus for PZ which has always worked flawlessly. My partner and I were going to let go of our old save and start playing on build 42 but I am getting a prop input error.

Is nucleus currently running PZ B.42?

i have been playing Palworld using nucleus co op, playing locally on the same PC with my sister. I saw that playing Palworld using nucleus co op doesn't actually open the game on steam, so I told a friend to download the game via steam family share to see if they can join us. However, it didnt work, whether or not we tried to join them or they try to join us. I am just wondering if someone playing Palworld on a different pc is able to join people playing on nucleus co op? If it is possible, is there a way to do it? I have already tried logmein Hamachi but it didnt work. Please let me know if there are other methods or if it is impossible altogether.

Got this set up with Elden Ring and really excited to play. The only issue is the game keeps detecting my Dualsense controllers as Xbox controllers. Not the worst thing in the world I know but I'm playing with my partner who would definitely rely on reading the correct button prompts as they're not the biggest gamer and never played a game like this. I know the Xbox buttons being shown would throw them a lot.

I'm using DS4Windows to connect the controllers but in Nucleus Coop they get recognized as Xbox controllers. All of the mods I've seen online to change it to a PS5 UI requires using mod engine 2 and I don't think I can use that with Nucleus can I?
