I'm not bragging. I bought my house at age 29 for 235k in a relatively low cost area. Just kept my expenses low, saved for a down payment and worked a job grossing around 85k. It can still be done
Do the perfect circumstances also involve the fact that I was divorced a year prior to that and lost half of my net worth to that and I'm also black meaning that my opportunities were far less than most others 🤷🏿.
I said what I said because if I can do it, it can be done. My circumstances were FAR from perfect and fuck anyone that thinks otherwise because if you're not a poc in this country, you have no idea.

Sure, if you're a boomer with a big house bought back when the economy worked.
On today's tiny appartments, you don't have the luxury to split a bedroom in half.
