I Feel Safe With You Trash appreciation

I have been re-listening to this album lately and just can't get over how much I love it.

I think when it first came out, the timing was really perfect for me, I was spending a lot of time alone and listening to music, and I was able to give this album the time it needs to really process and unpack. And I think it is sooo rewarding if you give it the chance.

My favorites are Queer as Love, Now Thats What I Call Freewave, True Beauty Forever, the title track, Fingerless Gloves, Kcrraanggaanngg!! and Karlheinz Chop Up Children, but honestly I enjoy most of it... it's way more of an album experience than a collection of singles.

I've seen plenty of people list this at the bottom of their discography, which I kind of understand... but wondering if many others love it as much as I do!

Daily Song Discussion #140: Hydra Fancies 💧

It's like standing on a dragon's tongue
They flashed your pretty nightmare on the sky when I was playing your card
Kissing your deaf son

Im little scared to share my drawing of Aethermead creature. It took me like maybe 1 hour and I'm not good at drawing I was just looked at the picture. He looks special on how I drew him. Yes he looks fat but that's okay.

A long shot, but does anyone know what bass amp was used during live shows in the 2004-2012 era?

I’m sure multiple different heads and cabs were used, but if anyone has any insight/suspicions, I’d love to hear it!

Anyone feel like they’re outgrowing this band?

I’ve been following oM for almost 20 years. White Is Relic is the last album that I’ve connected with, and it’s almost 10 years old. The tours and the younger audience have drifted into a particular vibe that I don’t really connect with. Seeing them in person has been less engaging too.

Anyone else feel similar? I’m wondering if I’m outgrowing the band, it’s a personal feeling, or if others have felt similarly. Wanted to debate with the longer time fans.

Hissing Fauna 20th anniversary tour Encore predictions?

With the tour being pretty much confirmed, what songs do you think they’ll pull for the encore? With the sunlandic twins tour they had a healthy mix of a deep cut with Black Fireworks, a satanic panic song and some hissing fauna songs.

My personal prediction is that it’ll be mostly skeletal Lamping songs. I doubt it’ll be songs off Icons Abstract thee since those are “deeper” cuts with less attention.
I also think they might play some stuff off of False priest but that’s purely just a hunch

My hopes for the encore:
Gallery piece
Plastis wafer
Mingusings
