A while back I remember a news story about a no-knock raid where a flashbang grenade was thrown into a crib. Yes, the baby was hurt, but far more importantly, a grown man was allowed to pull a pin on a grenade and feel a whole inch taller for a day.

Donkeys are territorial. A lot of people run them with sheep and goats because they'll fight off predators. The issue here is it was the donkey's yard. This kind of thing is what gets people righteously pissed off about law enforcement.

Not only that. It was a miniature donkey, bottle fed. The kind you see on pet zoos. That children play with.
It was literally incapable of causing any kind of meaningful damage even if they stood there.

That's a dangerous myth, for the donkey. Donkeys, like horses, are prey animals. They don't fight off predators. They get hurt, maimed and killed.

Shooting and killing a cute petting zoo Donkey named HeeHaw is cartoonishly evil. It’s the type of thing you’d say is too on-the-nose for satire. Reno 911 would’ve considered this low-hanging fruit. I’m starting to think Stormtroopers were portrayed as too competent and virtuous.

I mean, the article has more pics of the donkey than the thumb nail. It was an adult, but miniature donkey.
The pic of the donkey as a baby, may be a bit misleading, but it should tug at your heartstrings. It shows how this was an in home, bottle raised, beloved pet.

This was a petting zoo goat. He saw those cops as a source of treats and pets. Literally the most non threatening animal ever. Cops just wanted to kill something. They tazed him, first! Sickos!
