Looking for HR or manager's input on this.
I got picked to help with a coworker who took a 2 month leave of absence. I was told I was the back up, as there are 2 of us helping out.
The primary help had a meeting with the supervisor of person who took the leave of absence. Didn't tell me any details of what we're doing, what we're supposed to do, etc. The supervisor didn't reach out to me either.
Primary help isn't doing their job to help out with those files.
I emailed the supervisor, same day the Primary help had the meeting with the supervisor, saying "I'm willing to help, let me know if you need anything". No response.
This goes south, how do I prove they didn't reach out, discuss what needs to be done by me, what files/tasks I need to do. Feels like it could turn into a their word vs my word situation (which I'd like to avoid).
