I think with the mcu taking place in more recent years it's harder to tie a younger magneto to his Holocaust origins

Its definitely possible if he's introduced from another timeline like any of the foxverse, then it has a potential to stick but if they go for a younger dude, it would be a odd to write him as a Holocaust orphan

Could have been from the F4 timeline, would have fit age wise... But that would mean this utopian timeline had WW2 and the Holocaust

They can make him Jewish without making him a holocaust survivor. It's not like there's any shortage of anti-Jewish hate attacks. They could make him a survivor of the tree of life shooting or a fictional event based on it.
