No, different times & number of times that it happens means that it's not the same.

Look, sometimes it works as with Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury), even if they did ruin his character with Secret Invasion, but there are so many race swaps now that it's not even funny (seen the gingercide meme as an example)

I think this stems from just how many disproportionate red heads there are in comic books lol. Every second person is ginger because red is an interesting color for hair for stories
