Hahaha I say this with love, but go fuck your self and your “nothing fancy” $140 bottle of scotch. I consider Jameson top tier right now. Which, I mean, it’s not terrible. But still. I’m just jealous and poor, that’s all. Enjoy your scotch my friend!

As also a Scotch drinker myself, that's a complicated question. I think I'd have to go with "yes and no".
