Big month of pick up but a big month of reads as well. I finally got my hands on that nightwing reprint that I’ve been waiting a few months for. Also broke 5000 issues read on leave of comic geeks. Here’s to September!

What do you guys think? I know I’m not the only one who wants punisher max vol 2 (even tho i have a copy but the binding is garbage) but what about the rest?

Also,how many (if any at all) of these do you guys think will get a reprint next year?

I recently sold some popular runs that I had read, and just wasn't that into. It doesn't matter which ones, because they're all different for different people.

The point is that we all get sucked into FOMO now and then because people talk up certain volumes or runs and then we buy it and then we just don't see what others see. Or maybe we like them okay but not to any special level, which was kind of the case here.

So I wanted to clear some space but of course I hesitated because these ARE popular runs and I thought I might want to revisit. Plus one book I sold years ago (John Carter) I wish I'd kept, so it's made me extra cautious.

Then I re-read some books that are my favorites, and realized what I DO like, vs. books I read once or twice and just don't need to keep. Selling these will not be a mistake like John Carter. So I went ahead and sold them and realized how satisfying it was to narrow down my library even if it's just a little bit.

Tl;dr - if you're "eh" about a volume, even a supposed classic, go ahead and sell it.

Cyclops on the spine looks so bad@$$ 😎 hopefully, Marvel will announce the release (reprinting OHC as Omni) of the remaining ones from this era 🤞🏼

After a request pushing me to finish these, here is my take on a set of 6160 Ultimate Universe Deluxe Hardcovers. I'm sure most people would prefer Omnibuses, but I have been doing a bunch of these custom deluxe sets, and I personally would prefer these. Hope you enjoy!

Spider-Gwen Omnibus
Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider Omnibus

If you could only choose one, which would you recommend and why?

I especially love amazing artwork, strong storytelling, and complete runs, so those are the biggest factors for me. Which omnibus offers the better overall reading experience and feels more satisfying as a complete collection?

I'm trying to expand my taste and would love to hear what people consider some of the best of the best!

A few days ago I posted some deluxe edition designs I made for continued volumes of Mark Waid's Worlds Finest run, and decided to make a few more. The Batman book is the first of a template I have been working on for the modern All In/Next Level series DC has been releasing, I'm particularly fond of the little corner box characters. Green Lantern: Earth One is a book I think is well deserving of a Deluxe Edition, especially with the Lanterns show releasing and taking some inspiration from it. Finally, I wanted to try and fix Marvel's weird OHC banner to look more like the Omnibus banner, and did a deluxe of Captain America by Chip Zdarsky, and it being Marvel, I made a variant as well from one of my favorite variants Zdarsky himself did on issue #3. Hope you enjoy!

Seller just put the damn book in a pretty loose/thin box, it clearly rattled from within, corners pretty banged up with a bit of water damage too

Is there an omni or run that is best to get into her character?

For those of you who don't know Might Morphin Power Rangers Year One Deluxe Edition has been the hardest book out of the Boom Studios MMPR books at a fair price I literally remember seeing an ebay listing 2 months ago selling it for $329 USD. But thanks to late night scrolling on Amazon I checked on it to see it's price and it was selling for $133 which I normally would NEVER pay for a book but just knowing how hard this book is to get I figured thats the best price I'm gonna get at for A LONG TIME so BOOM! I bought it and decided to might as well get year 2 at the same time. I CANT WAIT TO READ THESE 😆😆😆

Appears that CGN has a restock of Immortal Hulk omni- I believe this was recently sold out at the main usual retailers and the secondary market prices were creeping up. (And it's a great read for those who haven't read it)
