This is an absolute disgrace

Chicken fried rice. Picture shows no veggies just rice and chicken chunks. Imagine my horror when I opened the container to find massive chunks of barely cooked onion and no chicken. Wtf

I have never in my life seen a Chinese place sell any fried rice without onions. Ever. I would always ask for no vegetables in the rice.

I've never been to one that does. What sociopath puts white onions in fried rice?

the overwhelming majority of chinese food places do

That must just be an east coast thing then. Authentic fried rice and the fried rice served in the west do not have onions. Onions add too much moisture that make the rice suck, on top of being a garbage vegetable

These people saying all fried rice has onions…I don’t know about that. Maybe that is an east coast thing?

Rice AND onions? 2 of my most hated foods.
