First timer

Hey everyone. I was pretty curious so I downloaded the Tor Browser. Can anyone give some tips or even some URLS to browse! I am currently reading thru the wiki right now. I am using the Reddit onion site right now lol. Surprisingly it looks like a webpage from 2002.

To stay safe, follow these rules and educate yourself about Tor and .onion urls:

On DNM Safety:

1) Only use marketplaces listed on daunt, tor taxi, or dark fail. Anything else is a scam.

2) Dont use any sites listed on a "HiddenWiki" or some random shit you found on a search engine, a telegram channel, or website. You will be scammed.

3) Only order domestic to domestic.

4) Dont send your crypto directly from an exchange to a DNM deposit address.

5) Read the DNM bible.

6) NO DNMs operate on reddit nor have their own subs. Anything you find on reddit is a scammer.

On educating yourself:

1) Read the /r/onions wiki here.

2) Read the /r/tor wiki here.

3) Read the /r/deepweb wiki here.

Why you can't just Google a bit before use it?

That 2002 look is actually for security since scripts are disabled. For links, use Ahmia or DuckDuckGo's onion version to search around, and check Daunt for directories. Don't use Google because captchas will drive you crazy. Just remember that most of the dark web is broken links and forums, so keep your expectations low. Most importantly, never download anything, don't use your real info, and leave JavaScript off. Welcome to Tor!

Also it’s kind of defeats the purpose  to use onion with a created account that can be traced back to you.

I guess I care about anonymity. Why else use onion, besides anonymous browsing?

Of course it is, otherwise Tor wouldn’t exist. The entire point is anonymity.

i dont like this engine, ppl who download Tor for the sake of "exploring" r looking for stuff that cant be accessed from regular browsers, and those stuff are blocked by Ahmia filters
