Subscription plan for use on opencode
Hey everyone, I used to get great results combining my OpenAI (Plus) subscription with DeepSeek (API) by mixing the agents.
However, OpenAI's recent changes—which set ridiculously low limits—have made that impossible. I need an alternative.
I was considering SuperGrok...
Do you know if a SuperGrok subscription works with OpenCode?
Are there any other options you'd recommend?

I don't think that's true

I actually forgot to comment. This high consumption I tested in Codex. but I think Q is the same in OpenCode via Auth.

I have chatgpt plus with opencode oauth and I don't see any usage restriction

I had good usage past 2 days but today I ran luna via deepseek harness and it ended up immediately for me too..

One thing worth knowing before you pick: consumer subscriptions (SuperGrok included) behave differently through a harness than in the chat app. Agent loops burn through conversational limits fast, so "works with OpenCode" and "survives a full day of agenting" are two different questions. The xAI OAuth route does work per reports in this thread, but validate the limit behavior with your actual workload before paying.
Your old setup — subscription + DeepSeek API hybrid — is actually the pattern most heavy OpenCode users land on: a flat plan for the always-on model plus cheap overflow for the rest. I'd pick your daily-driver model first, then compare providers on that model specifically.
For context, I work on Entrim — we offer flat monthly plans on V4 Flash / Qwen 3.8 / Qwen 3.6 through an OpenAI-compatible API, so they plug into OpenCode directly if you want to keep the hybrid. What model would be your daily driver?

I had been using Sol no alto as the orchestrator and splitting the roles of builder, reviewer, and debugger between Luna and DeepSeek V4 Flash.

That's a solid split. Keeping the orchestrator on a flat plan and running the worker roles on API models is the pattern most heavy OpenCode users end up on, since sub-agent turns are where the tokens actually disappear. Role-splitting is what makes the quotas last. Have you hit any rate limits on the DeepSeek side with that setup, or has it been smooth under load?

Anything that gives you the api key and entrypoint should be fine. Does superhitlerAI give you those?
