Hi! I've never played Runescape before and this is my first experience in the game. Are players welcoming to newbies like me? I'm playing in an f2p world for a while to decide if I should get membership.

I’m working on a f2p Ironman and I’ve been afking at Camdozaal mostly. The mining exp isn’t too terrible for an afk method at about 6k with a rune pickaxe and 57 mining, but even with the buff the smithing exp/hr is about 1k. I’ve been trying to grind out smithing for a better axe since the best you can get in f2p from the shops is steel, but this is just miserable

Could someone please explain to me why this is so expensive? I just got one in a Mystery Box. I’m new to OSRS, and can’t really find anything on it. Thanks!!
