When I was a kid (in the 80s/90s), I had no idea what the tobacco auctioneers were saying during the ads. This is the most detailed transcription attempt I've ever seen.
There was a brief period where they did a bit about other companies speaking gibberish, and included some audio played backwards in the ad. It even caught the actors by surprise, and Jack once ad libbed a "...and that new thing they added today" to the delight of the audience.
Was it the 'no more gibberrish, no double talk, just the facts'?
Cause I'm currently listening qround 1952 and the 'scientific results' was something started around 1951.
