So i have never really been fussed over horror games but as of late i've really gotten into outlast and have the money to get it (gift card). Do i get outlast 1 or 2 and save a bit of money or just get both ?

I'm just asking because I think it would be a good way to figure out what we can learn about the reagents, or at least our reagent. Any thoughts?

For me, it’s not always the big chase scenes. The moments where you’re exploring an area, everything suddenly goes quiet, and you realize something is watching you are way more unsettling.

Which moment genuinely made you stop playing for a bit?

I'm not sure why but even though this game is completely twisted it doesn't have the same impact as something like an Amnesia game. Do you think it's it because there's just too much thrown at you too often or the problems you have to overcome are easily figured out, am I alone in this? I had to take breaks during the first Amnesia and recently The Bunker but Outlast just feels like I'm going through the motions.

Don't you find it strange that Amelia escaped a second time so easily? Why didn't Easterman double the surveillance? How come she didn't recover from the treatment in a confined room? Murkoff is supposed to be meticulous and cautious, yet they made the same mistake twice? Personally, either Easterman has plans for her, or he's completely stupid and unintelligent (and that seems odd considering his character).
