Evidence of our great noodliness Pastafarians doesn't have 0 declarations of war
I was doing a little research on the history of humanity and came across the so-called “Sea Peoples.” I don't know if anyone had researched them before, but I conducted an exhaustive study. The Sea Peoples were a group of tribes that migrated to the eastern Mediterranean. I want to take a closer look at some interesting tribes:
- Lukka: The Lukka were mercenaries but primarily pirates. They had no centralized political structure—in other words, they were free. At times, they allied themselves with the Hittites.
- Sherden: The Sherden were also a tribe of sailors and pirate mercenaries. They attempted to land on the Nile River but were stopped by the Egyptian kingdom. Ramses II hired them as his royal guard. It’s also worth noting that this tribe is believed to have settled in what is now Sardinia, Italy (the land of pasta).
- Shekelesh: They were a nomadic seafaring group. One of the most interesting facts is that in the so-called “Ugarit Letters,” the Hittite king states, “they live on ships” which reinforces their connection to the sea. This tribe settled in present-day Sicily. Sicily is significant because it was one of the first places where the Arabs brought their semolina noodles, giving rise to modern Italian pasta.
Thus, these Sea Peoples turn out to be very similar to our pirate ancestors—so much so that I would call them the first pirates created by our Delightful Deity.
Following the title of this post, I’d like to introduce a rather interesting explanation. The Lukka tribe joined the Hittite kingdom, and the Sherden joined the Egyptian kingdom, for the Battle of Kadesh. This battle is significant because, after a period of war in which neither side emerged victorious, and years after its conclusion, both the Egyptians and the Hittites signed the first peace treaty in history. This is a clear indication of Pastafarian involvement, as we are by nature pacifists. Thus, I have come to the conclusion that we cannot be considered to have 0 declarations of war, but rather -1, since our faith has a peace treaty.
R’Amen.

His Noodliness Can I place an order for some dogma?
It's for the situations where there's group prayer and they say that you can "pray in your own way" in an attempt to be inclusive. What they mean is "do what we're doing". Can we get an obnoxious pose that sticks out like a sore thumb written down somewhere? Maybe the Captain Morgan stance or some sort of hand signs with outstretched arms?

Image I found more evidence He exists.
galleryA few days ago I saw a “cloud” in the sky, I noticed it looks a lot like one of His noodly appendages. Notice the squiggly pattern, i thought it might have something to do with Him. I’ve been studying the gospel extra hard since, this morning I was studying it again and I found something, in the section “irrefutable proof” pages 35-37, Bobby Henderson wrote that “The truth is that the FSM is hidden all around us. And He‘s left clues like Italian-style bread crumbs to show us the path to His Eternal Noodliness.” I started thinking that perhaps he meant physical clues too, like a trace of on of His noodly appendages in the sky, then I was reading “The Holy Noodle“ pages 70-80 and I noticed that in the section for The Second Day it was said that “The FSM was tired of flying“ meaning that He must have flown at some point, I believe that this track in the clouds is simply proof of Him flying years and years ago.

Question I have a question about beer volcano
I have celiac disease. Regular beer would probably hospitalize me on earth, but in pastafarian heaven, do I get my own mini gluten-free beer volcano, or will I be cured of celiac?
I need to know very badly.

Art Finally got my FSM tattoo!
galleryEd Duong of Raven's Mark Tattoo in Southington CT is a fellow Pastafarian and he created this stunning piece for me. We entered into color tattoo of the day but unfortunately there was some really serious competition and we didn't win but I couldn't resist going on stage wearing my colander.

Question Is the meatball topping mandatory?
Or any kind of spaghetti sauce is fine? I quite enjoy carbonara. What about other kinds of noodles, nom-spaghetti pasta or ramen. Different denominations or sacrilege? Mm maybe some slow braised beef ragu with tagliatelle… if I am not going too far.. dumplings? Oh my Dumpling, all kinds of dumplings are worship-able to me. I will worship some xiao long bao any time. Bring me the khinkali. Apologies if this is heretic talk, just curious (and so hungry right now)

Art Rough tattoo concept
Next week a fellow pastafarian is tattooing this on me at the a Providence Tattoo Convention and we're entering into tattoo of the day. This is just a rough work up he sent me to see what I thought of it as I've given him creative freedom. I'll be wearing my strainer the whole time as will the artist. Very excited to finally have the FSM touch my body with his noodly appendage.
