I was watching Pawn Stars Do America and Ryan from the show Oddities randomly appeared. He was selling a Witch door funny enough. He wore a crossbones lapel pin which is hilarious because he was the known as the "Bone Guy" on that show. I thought that was cool.

so i was watching pawn stars recently and god everytime the harrison trio opens their mouth ... its like dude just get to the point .
my issues

1.the lowballing has become more insane,like straight up i cant do this i have to make money sure rick i mean those mansions and that lifestyle your son has sure doesnt come cheap buddy
2.the immense scripting makes the show boring earlier mark hall patton and the history behind the item was interesting but now it just seems like ok nothing to do so lets kill 30 minutes.ohh and i just saw on coreys ama that they will replace the seller with an actor just because he has an ugly mug like WTF

1. the worst is when correy lowballed the star wars fan and offered her 500$ for her entire collection like ur reasoning is that getting them graded is going to kill u financially dude if thats the case maybe dont take trips all over the world and stick in vegas,what a fucking bunch of assholes.

4.also apparently rick harrson's son had died due to fentanyl overdoes but the guy used that as a way to gain national media coverage like sure buddy the sinaloa will definitely stop its production now .
in short pawn stars sucks and history should stop broadcasting it

What would happen if someone randomly found gold or diamonds in the wild and brought them to a pawn shop or jewelry store to get money for them?

They had the California Gold Rush where people found gold out west and people have also found diamonds too, some years ago others recently.

Obviously this was mainly 18TH century, but what would happen if someone actually found gold in California or somewhere else in the mountains or forests or random public lands and took it to a jewelry store or pawn shop and tried to sell it or just have it appraised to get money for it?

Wouldn't have to be legal or illegal, just a random camper or hiker or person outside makes the discovery of their life and doesn't tell the land owner or police, they just try to find more and take it and leave, then pawn it for cash straight up, people don't care either.
