More of a question than anything, im back at playjng PD3 with my friends and i noticed how hard Overkill is compared to V.hard, i know it is meant to be super hard and thats fine, but im wondering if anyone else feels like Very hard is somewhat easy while overkill is extremely hard in comparassion?

Is this a new bug or has anyone dealt with this before.

The same patch that the Blue SWAT units in-game use can be found on the GCPD SWAT units in the Dark Knight, a film that came out 5 years before Payday 2.

So i bought the game on the original XBOX ONE back in 2015. Loved it, still do. Haven’t touched in months. Decided to see if I could still play it. Says game is not installed, and that I have no saved data😑 can someone help me out and tell me how I get all my stuff back so I can play the game again, please?

First of all, of course I am aware any kind of perkdeck is masterclass depending on player's hands.

What I mean is, back when I was playing couple years ago I was kind of on top of the earth with META and builds and such. I had builds for everything, tailored by me, etc. etc. and they worked as intended. I recently restarted playing, and while I was playing only my Hacker builds were tailored fine enough to be played on DS and above.

Now, other builds were trash, they were designed to be trash, but what I don't understand is somehow I cannot get leech build to do anything.

I remember very clearly telling myself in the past "damn... game is way too easy with leech", this being primary reason of me making a hacker build in first place. Now that I have returned, basically, leech couldn't carry me through jackshit.

Ampule time is way too long, DS enemies come in hordes, yes, but they down you before you down enough of them to sufficiently restack and use ampule in a cycle. And I have for some reason before then gave a suit to my leech build, yet leech gives no dodge? Incredible, why would I have done that I cannot understand. Leech's grace time is comically little too. Plus, somehow, any weapons I've used is no good. Hacker's akimbo shotguns are very nice, but I want to make new builds, because playing one all the time is not fun as you guys might imagine.

Therefore, two questions. "Is Leech... Not Good?" and "What... Is good?"

Based on all the recently released voiceovers, here's my interpretation of how the rewritten campaign story could play out. I'm sure other fans have concluded something similar, but I haven't seen any discussion beyond the content of the new voiceovers.

Obviously the tutorial is the prologue. Houston and Shade are doing jobs while the rest of the crew is retired. Houston gets captured and Shade needs the crew's help to find him and get him back.

Act 1 is intel gathering. NRFTW's briefing implies that they need to hack the bank's cloud servers to get their surveillance data. I suspect that the first batch of heists will revolve around expanding the gang's surveillance reach to try to figure out who took Houston.

Act 2 is the search for Houston. Cook Off and Delivery Charge's briefings mention that they're trying to put pressure on the Palatucci mob to get them to reveal Houston's location. Party Powder seems to be a part of this, and possibly others. Houston Breakout will either be at the end of this act, or take place before the end of the next one.

Act 3 is the attack on Mason Laurent. The gang figures out that he was behind Houston's capture. It's confirmed that you rescue Houston before Touch The Sky, and since you can kill Mason in TTS, that is likely the final heist involving him. Rock The Cradle, Gold & Sharke, and Touch The Sky will be in this stretch of heists, not sure which other ones would fit here too.

Act 4 is the war against Scry and SINS. Mason was investing in and working with Scry digital to take down the gang and fund SINS. In this rewrite, SINS is an AI controlled surveillance system that is about to be deployed to New York and several other places across the US. This would threaten the existence of the gang. Turbid Station seems to be a setup heist, and it's possible some other heists could fit into here too. Syntax Error is where the crew steals and destroys SINS, and Fear & Greed is where they financially manipulate Scry into bankruptcy so that they cannot rebuild SINS.
