Would be much closer to 10 years from now if we want them to look similar to how they look in the books. Anti aging meds slow down aging significantly and its already been 5 years since they stopped filming
I would suggest the books. The show sticks close enough to the books that it's not jarring to go to them after the show. There are differences but nothing drastic, and it does get pretty interesting.
I also suggest the author's other book series Captives War. That's super interesting too. Aliens are real and their assholes. Lol
Also read by the same guy, Jefferson Mays, who's an amazing reader if you're into audio books.
Funny part is that probably they were happy it finally sold, it's very likely it had been sitting there for ages, imagine how many discounts it went before hitting that price lmaoooo

I’ve worked at a lot of OP shops (thrift) for you unaustralians. Plenty of people go looking for pc parts, console shit, or whatever. Usually goes out the door fast.

Where the fuck are these thrift stores that sell new packs of RAM? Or any other components for that matter. Where I live, thrift stores sell used Chinese rags and old lamps. Nothing even remotely like this. I'm so jealous.
Youd be surprised the stuff thrift stores get. Back in the day i made a living reselling thrift items. Those days are gone for years now. Most thrift store hire people to go through their stuff and pull out high value items and list the items on ebay. You wouldnt even know it was coming from a thrift store ordering it on eBay either. The super high fees on ebay also make that hussle not worth it.

Thrift/charity stores around here check the prices of their stock and price them according to the online second hand market to avoid having their good stock bought out those people who buy from them to resell at a profit. I don't blame the stores for doing that but it does make it harder for people in need to get what they need at a price that they can afford without having to go through the hassle of getting verified as a person in need of charitable help...
My best thrift store find was a pack of 10 comics for $10. I’m not a comic person but I know how to look up the value of things. 9 of the comics were worthless but the Incredible Hulk issue #181, I was able to sell for $850.
Why would store owner be that ignorant of recent market value of DDR5 RAM. Every “thrift” type secondhand store in my country knows exactly how much it’s worth. And sell most things for basically “new” prices.
I wish thrift stores near me sold computer stuff besides keyboards and mice.
I used to do community service at goodwill and people drop off computers, laptops, phones all day and they mysteriously disappear. They never end up on a shelf. When people donate clothes they are tossed into a trailer to be sent away for cleaning. Computer stuff? No frickin clue. Goodwill is a racket 100%. That place probably makes bank and only for the behind the scenes shit.
I'd love to hear from people who actually work there cuz community service people were never allowed near that stuff
i swear thrift stores do this on purpose. These are loss leaders so we come to their stores in droves and buy other things while looking for the diamond in the rough.
