It's like these tech firms have completely lost touch with their users. I don't believe in the secret reptilians living in caves underground but if they existed it sure would explain a few things
I've only tried the emulator with the first InFamous game and a few other games unrelated to InFamous, so I hope this helps:
It works about as good as it'll get for a while. Quite a few games run fine on it, but with InFamous the lightning effects aren't right and there are FPS issues.
There's fixes that remove the distortion effect from the lightning, but the FPS is a problem sometimes and it's recommend to use software like Lossless Scaling to generate extra frames and smooth out FPS. More miscellaneous fixes and tweaks to help the audio not glitch out and stutter, keep the game running as optimal as it can...
It doesn't feel the same as original hardware, speaking as someone who has played the originals. But if you have no means to use the original hardware, it's honestly not a horrible experience to play through the PS3 emulator.
Ditto; if they remastered it and stuck it out on PC, I'd scoop that up.
Only alternative I know is with the original hardware or maybe with a PS4 if you had the titles digitally or redeemed through PS+ Gold back in the day, which is a shame.

Having Forza horizon keep recommending a difficulty increase was great until It recommended the Unbeatable difficulty and holy heck was that just a bit much. Also going through MW2 shooting range and it recommending veteran was great until the white house mission.
Oh no! OP is one of the 152k people living in Milton, Ontario. Like ok dude are you gonna swat every single house or something. Also if we want to be technical doxxing is someone else publishing details without your permission.
Not my dad. He always wanted me to, "Stop playing those damned video games!" Then, I'd convince myself to help him with his project in the garage for several weeks, culminating in whatever we fixed working for about thirty minutes before we needed to fix it again.
And he never understood why I hated his garage projects.
Yeah... Don't fuck with my chosen level. Let me enjoy the story and not grind your BS artificial "difficulty". I'm an adult with better things to do than die 50+ times to a boss. (Souls games are different. I don't know why.)
Meanwhile, Forza will tell you to lower your difficulty if you've been losing a lot. Imo "losing", i.e. not becoming first, is the fastest way to learn limits and tactics.
