In my country I just gave up after a handful of prompts, took some screenshots of me trying, then opened a case with the Tribunal against both the retailer and manufacturer. Neither even turned up to defend themselves. Only communication I ever got from them was a week or two later from their lawyer asking for my bank account number to pay my judgement.
This is sad Burgeristanian phenomenon. In my EU country, one simply returns the hardware item to the brick shop one bought it from, then the shop takes care of transport, confirmation of the problem, and sending of the replacement back to the shop. One only has to appear in person at the shop after a message gets sent (zero costs, zero hassle)
Or "We found the issue with a part and repairing that will cost 400$. If you choose not go through, we will send the product back with 10 more problems". That was the ROG Ally experience.
