This is the kinda reason I never cheap out on a PSU, knowing full well I may be overpaying. I do NOT want this scare. Ever. Never ever ever never ever.

seasonics are expensive as hell, but they do have a good rep for PSUs.

Spending more doesn't somehow negate the possibility of faulty hardware. "Cheaper" can last just as long, and "expensive" can fry just as fast.

Any company with decent QC is just as good as another.
