I remember this happening once at a 800 person lan I attended back in the 2000s. Someone was using a cheap knockoff PSU and it blew about halfway through the first day. It killed every other pc at that table. I was, thankfully, 2 tables over. The sound was sure spectacular!

Yup. Power surges are a bitch
