Question/Help Learning Pandeiro

I'm looking to get better at playing pandeiro. I started playing it in capoeira but got interested in going beyond it (particularly into samba and bossa nova) since it's such an awesome instrument.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend resources for practice / have any advice for starting out. I've seen some books online, but would want people's recommendations before spending money.

Scott Kettner does great free videos on YouTube. Marcus Santos is another great teacher. (Not Marcos, Marcus)

Robert Thomas, aka The Drum Guy some stuff out there too. Exercises to build the basic skills and a bit more. I play in a small. Samba Batucada group. Unfortunately no Panderios. Tambourim, ago-go, Surdos, Caxia, Repinique, We have done a few Samba Pagode workshops with Panderios and Rebolo, but it isn’t on a regular basis. I wish we did.

Recomendo os canais Aprendendo Percussão, Tulio Araujo, Leo Rodrigues e Larissa Umayta. Exploram linguagens diferentes no instrumento e possuem muito material de qualidade no YouTube.
