Happy Phish Dick's Week!!

so so so excited to have all the pham in town this weekend, especially for the after shows! truly one of my favorite weekends to work at cervantes <3

come visit us if you're in town early for night zero (pace yourselves lmao). also swing through if you're wide awake and looking to ride the wave through the morning hours. ubers & lyfts are readily available in the city and you'll be in good company :)

Sloppy hacks more interested in getting high on drugs than playing interesting music. The guitar player Scott doesn't even tune his guitar, he's a rich Boulder high kid who doesn't give af about anything other than good times and molly 🙄

did your date leave you at set break? or do you know them on a personal level 😅 'cause i haven't seen a show where drugs took prioritization over the performance and i def haven't had a show where i got mad that any jambands's members are rich kids who care more about good times than anything else lol

This guy has some sort of weird grudge. I've met a couple of them over the years and they're good guys. And they never handed out free drugs in the early days. That's insane. They put on one of the most beloved festivals in Colorado and we're sad to see it go.

I've been around the front range scene forever dude. Fuck the magic beans they're a local example of kids who had money instead of talent. They made a name for themselves in the early days by handing out drugs along with free tickets just to boost attendance at their shows. Fuck those guys

oh wow - this is incredible. very much right up my alley on this rainy evening. thank you for sharing :)

definitely would not consider this a "for the denver masses" phish after party show, but i'd absolutely duck into a dim club for something like this (and my phish friends probably wouldn't join me).

if you're local, we do have classical jazz every so often. emmaline was a treat here during denver jazz fest, and corto.alto was mindblowingly good last month (quite a bit more modern tho). geordie greep is playing on 10/13 if you're feeling adventurous and looking for an avant-garde zappa x sinatra jazzy english showman sort of thing.
