Feedback Welcome Twig and Vine
I actually titled this photograph "Fatal Embrace" but the "rules" flagged it so I called it "Twig and Vine" for the purposes of posting here. I see this photograph as a metaphor for a toxic relationship. It starts out with the twig. The twig is young, alone, vulnerable and taking its first steps out into the world. Along comes the vine. The vine embraces the twig and makes it feel as if there is something there willing to wrap itself around the twig and keep it safe. The twig welcomes the attention. What the twig doesn't realize is that over time, the vine's grip will become tighter and tighter. The vine will deform the twig and will prevent it from ever being free to be what it should have been.

Feedback Welcome First Cast of September
Marsh Creek State Park - Sept 2026
First Cast of September
Managed to catch this fisherman's first cast of the morning and the month just before sunrise. Looks like a pretty big lure on the end of his line. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 16-35 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

Feedback Welcome "THE WIND'S DANCE"
The blades await the wind, the hem awaits a hand, and the sea strikes up the tune.
None leads. None follows.
For one brief beat, all lean one towards another β and THE WIND-DANCE begins.
