I as well. Unfortunately this isn’t one of them. The body of water seen here is the Niagara River.
Lake Ontario is about 20km to my left.

You don't have to kiss Canada's ass. They don't have an army. I'm sure it had another name before Lake Ontario. Nothing in life is forever. I'm just worried that the orange overlord is gonna rename them all Lake America and then it's gonna get really confusing.
EDIT: Your downvotes mean nothing, I've seen what you upvote.

Ontario was named by the Indians tribe of the area. It was adopted by the settlers so …yeah you are wrong and pathetic. Congrats!

Theyre not wrong though. Look up what the French called it when they were colonizing.

Lac France?

During French colonial Canada, various other names for the lake were also used, including Frontenac and St. Louis

Commenting on the downvotes is a clear indication you do care and are obviously tracking the count.

It's been called lake ontario officially since at least 1639, and probably for hundreds of years before that, because that is the native tribe's name for it too.

Speak for yourself. The new name is way better, tbh. Trump or no Trump, it's just better.

Where's this? It looks just like Lake America.

This is the Niagara River as seen from the Canadian side - it’s not a lake. But the water seen here will eventually make it’s way to a lake by the name of Ontario.

We were there three days ago. It's crazy how much water comes gushing over the Falls.
