God bless Pink Floyd man there is some spooky shit in that meddle album. so listen, I had took 4 tabs of sunshine acid planning to watch Barry Lyndon, about 30 minutes into Barry Lyndon i start thinking “fuck my no good plug fucked me over”. I pause Barry Lyndon, and call up a buddy of mine. he sat me through the trip for the duration. shortly after I called him had to have been about 1 hour in at this point shit started happening Faaaast. My posters start turning, my rooms flipping side ways, it was outta this fucking world, eventually I say fuck it “let’s test my whits” i turn on Pink Floyd “meddle” god knows what the hell happened after that. im listening and frankly I was in my head for most the album but Echoes comes on and I just go black, my entire room was dark and I could hear animal noises through the guitar rifts, I couldn’t believe it, I repeatedly said “he’s making animal noises with his fucking guitar”. at the start of the album i was kinda an observer, by the time I hit that middle kinda San tropez spot it was like I got primal, i was fighting back against the music. as the album kept going eventually my whole room goes dark and I swear may the gods strike me if I lie, i was in a jungle and there was no more music just panther sounds, realistically I should be frightened outta my mind, but no I wanted to rip him the fuck apart, “come at me” I said as this panther circled me, and before I knew it the panther was gone and I was on my bed on my hands and knuckles wondering “what the fuck was that?” I lay down my buddy confused, after that I turned on the have a good trip Netflix documentary which blew me away all over again, after that I i laid down and turned on animals by Pink Floyd, and honestly i dont even wanna talk about it.

I know everyone like's to hate on it, I suppose because it's a cash grab, but after giving it a chance I find myself adding more and more songs to my playlist. Best are, in my humble opinion, Anisina, Night Light, Autumn 68, Talkin Hawkin, Calling, and my absolute favorite, Surfacing. The whole album is nice to listen to, the seamless transition between them is always pleasant, but some are definitely skippable. Though I'm biased, my favorite PF album is division bell (poles apart is the GOAT), and I'll listen to anything with David's voice and guitar in it.

Also I'm not posting this on the main sub because I need comment karma and I dont feel like doing that, so sorry if this is unwelcome.
