I was looking for a substance painter thing, and saw one from haxnode. I’m still super new to this so idk much.
I downloaded a vm to try this out plus a free p2p vpn (privado). Used tor browser aswell, and checked it out with a malware detection.

Only concern really is that while the download has a bunch of seeders, and a skull next to it, i read something on a piracy sub about that guy specifically putting malware in stuff, but then someone else said that they had no issues

Is there any way at all to make sure it’s actually safe?

I tried searching for my Uni textbooks on Annas Archive and zlibrary. In both cases I found plenty of partial results but couldn't find exactly which one it was (Which matters for answers and content)
