Most late-night playlists lean heavy into quiet ambient or slow lo-fi, but I wanted to build a soundtrack for a very specific mood: driving down a rain-slicked highway at midnight, laughing through a misfire of a day, and overthinking your life choices to a driving bassline.

It’s structured as a cohesive 4-part arc rather than a random shuffle—moving from jangly slacker rock into gritty post-punk, through underground indie cuts, and winding down with cinematic night-cruise reflection.

As the title says, I've created a playlist that I welcome your opinion on. I've wanted to do this for years and have just now spent a bit of time adding my most favourite guitar great songs to a custom playlist. I know there are several Pink Floyd songs, but they're just excellent. I need to space the PF ones out a bit, and have a good think about pacing through the playlist.

It needs to have it's highs and lows, balanced somewhat preferably.

Overall, it has a very chill and upbeat vibe, so you can put it on for drives, studying, or just having something on in the background.

I refresh it every month, mostly with songs from recent years alongside some newer releases, so there's always a new batch of songs to discover. Because of that, it also works well as a discovery playlist.
