Summary of Trump in general. It seems like he gets a pass on everything he does his entire life. Break all sorts of laws and he gets a slap on the wrist and just keeps going. As long as you have lots of money, a team of lawyers, and pay off the right people, you can get away with anything in this country.

Trump is a fkn enigma to me. I don't get why he got where he is. Seems any reasonable person should have shut him down decades ago.

Well, a large percentage of people also thinks he’s “one of them” because he speaks poorly and is a boorish moron.

These people have been told for decades by the likes of Fox News that they aren’t the problem. It’s those damn liberals who are wrong and so they elected a president who they more see themselves in, racism definitely included

They think he "tells it like it is" because he prefaces his racism with "I'm not supposed to say this, but..." It's like a verbal cheat code. For much the same reason, I suspect the people under Trump's sway also fall for those "Doctors don't want you to know this" ads.
