As much as I do hope that the midterms make a real difference, I don't think that Trump really cares, even if the Democrats win control of Congress. He is proven that he doesn't care about the law and won't listen regardless. This is going to get so much worse before it gets better

Yep. We needed to beat this guy in 2016 and 2024. Those were the biggest fights and we lost them. Now all we can do is try to salvage whatever is left. And all of this because idiot dipshit low IQ voters couldn't make the easiest choice in the world.
I will never forgive anyone who didnt vote for/support the dems, voted/endorsed third party, of those who voted for Trump. Dont trust a single thing any of the dipshits who did what I listed say. Even if they say shit you agree with, they can go fuck themselves. They’re not to be trusted.

What are the Dems gonna do? Impeach him again? Not like this time he's gonna face any real consequences anyway. He's old and deteriorating. If he makes it past the next 2 years, I genuinely don't see the Dems being like "yeah let's make this crusty old man spend his final days locked up." I hate compliance in advance but there's been a pretty significant pattern of 0 consequences, so I'm genuinely not getting my hopes up. If something of consequence happens, great. If not, well, I am not as disappointed.
Like, I could list every single thing he's done here that we are all well aware of and ruin the rest of my night... or I could go hang out with my dog and watch some TV. In the end, he still has not faced jail time or any meaningful punishment and won't, no matter which I option I choose. It feels really futile.

There is a support system for him, and those people tend to be 20 years younger or more. The Dems should be investigating all of the people they can, and not focus just on Trump.

I'm a Democrat, and I'm raging. But not always quietly. I think Democrat candidates need to be running on a strong anti-corruption platform; to bring reforms to block POTUS and congress from profiting off of our government and country; not allowed to trade stocks & bonds; stop letting rich and greedy corporations pour money into POTUS, SCROTUS, and congress; not allowed to launder money through digital currency; POTUW not allowed to abuse or weaponize funding (or DOJ or FBI or ICE); things like that.
Point out how massively corrupt Trump and Republicans are right now and promise to fix it. Then actually fix it when elected.

I think there are a few obvious people that are going to run. Kamala is almost a lock to run, Pete is a lock to run, Gavin Newsome may wind up as a front runner he's a lock to run. I don't believe AOC will run, I can't imagine Warren or Bernie running, I'm sure there are a few others behind the scenes if you follow the money.

Voting for people strictly in the DNC is regulatory captured and if you and all of US dont start voting for a viable third party. Your electoralism will not save you.
You cant have 2 egregious capitalist parties as your saviors. They are openly opposing the left side of the democratic party. To the point some prominent liberals spokes people for the dem party are threatening to support Mike Rodgers.
You'll need to organize outside of that false dichotomy before you even have real electoralism as a useful tool.

DNC is an admin division. Think HR plus accounting. Their two big moments are scheduling the early states — already done — and scheduling the debates, including requirements to qualify. That’s it. They are not in charge of who wins or what their views are. One DNC chair in recent years broke the rules by favoring a candidate — Hillary Clinton — and she then got fired for it in mid campaign.
