Whoever the next 5 presidents are. This isn't a 4-8 year fix unfortunately. Trump and his enablers have systematically destroyed stuff thats been built over decades during times when congress actually wanted to work together and help america. We won't ever see a functional congress again in our lifetimes, and even if we did get a massive swing towards democrats, the american people will only allow so much change before the other side starts screaming louder that the country is going to get worse and the idiots start listening to that again.

Also need to fix the Supreme Court. The next Dem president pretty much has to pack the court to restore any sort of check/balance system again. The judiciary has become too compromised.

And in order to do all of that your country needs to invest in education and to force parents to get their children into an actual school.

That will not happen though.

If dems ever regain power. Regulate social media and media to fumigate this toxic wasteland, end citizens united, invest heavily in education and mental healthcare, universal healthcare. First five bullet points on program 2030.

For me, this is huge. Citizen's United needs to be repealed at the court. It would help out so much

In reality the next president will work on fixing it for 4-8 years, not be absolutely perfect, and America will vote in another conservative because they weren't perfect.

It's certainly wouldn't be legal either, but Trump (and the Confederacy et al.) have already revealed the courts to be impotent and slow in many ways.
