Cracked Filter
Noticed a small crack on my filter at the fitting for the pressure gauge. Water leaking from the crack when turned on.
We inherited the equipment when we moved into this house a few months ago. I’m fairly confident the crack is new. When we had our pool inspected, the inspector made a comment that our filter was a dinosaur and they likely don’t make replacement parts anymore. Assuming that to be true, is there a fix that can get me through the end of pool season for another month or two short of replacing the entire thing?

I wouldn't do this on any of my customers pools, (I'd 100%replace)but if you're just wanting to try to finish up the season before you replace it, you could try putting some JB weld in that little crack and let it set up before turning pump back on
